Resetting your AirPods:

If you can’t connect to your phone to your AirPods, or they won’t charge, you might need to reset them.

To reset your AirPods

  • press and hold the button on the back of the AirPods case for more than 10 seconds.
  • This will unpair them from the device and make them ready to pair again.
  • The light will flash (white) meaning ready to pair or connect.

This can also be achieved by going to

  • Settings
  • bluetooth, the AirPods
  • press forget device.

Adjust double tap feature:

AirPods can be set to either activate Siri, Play/Pause, go to Next track, previous track, or turn off by double tapping them. In fact, each AirPod can be set to different double tap actions.

To set the double tap to the action you choose, go to settings> bluetooth> under my devices tap the blue “i” icon there you will see the “double Tap on AirPod” setting for both left and right Airpods. Here you can assign your desired function for the double tap feature.
